UDST opens Fall 2027 admissions to students in Qatar and abroad
The University of Doha for Science and Technology has begun accepting applications for Fall 2027 across more than 80 diploma, bachelor’s and master’s programmes.
The University of Doha for Science and Technology has opened admissions for the Fall 2027 semester, inviting applications from prospective students in Qatar and overseas. Applications for diploma, bachelor’s and master’s programmes can be submitted through the university’s website, udst.edu.qa.
UDST, Qatar’s first applied university, offers more than 80 academic programmes through five colleges. Its teaching model combines academic study with practical experience and is designed around the changing requirements of industry and Qatar’s workforce.
The university said eligible students can access 12 kinds of scholarships and tuition-fee exemptions. Qatari citizens and the children of Qatari women remain eligible for undergraduate tuition exemptions when they meet the applicable conditions.
UDST President Dr Salem Al Naemi said the university views access to high-quality applied education as a way for students to realise their potential and contribute to their communities. He said the institution’s programmes and scholarship opportunities are intended to help students pursue their ambitions and prepare for meaningful careers.
Al Naemi also highlighted the role of international students in campus life. UDST’s student body includes people from more than 93 countries, bringing together a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
He said the university welcomes applicants from Qatar and other countries to an environment built around practical education, industry relevance and campus experience. The goal, he added, is to equip graduates to contribute both to Qatar’s continued development and to the wider international community.
Prospective students can review entry requirements, programme information, scholarship criteria and application procedures on the university’s official admissions portal before applying.
