fiskaltrust launches e-invoicing across Europe
The new product lets merchants and POS vendors issue, send and archive e-invoices in the European market through the fiskaltrust platform.
Salzburg, Austria, 29th of September 2026 — fiskaltrust.eu launched fiskaltrust.eInvoices, extending its compliance platform so that merchants and POS vendors can meet electronic invoicing requirements across Europe through a single integration.
Governments across Europe are making e-invoicing and digital reporting mandatory, but each market is doing it differently. Countries are adopting their own invoice formats, reporting models and technical frameworks which today forces businesses to build and maintain a separate implementation for every country they operate in.
fiskaltrust.eInvoices replaces that fragmented approach with one platform. Businesses can issue and archive electronic invoices while meeting each country’s specific requirements, all through the fiskaltrust infrastructure they already rely on for fiscalisation.
The platform supports the major European standards and national frameworks. It is built to evolve with future regulations, including the European Commission’s VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) initiative.
Because fiskaltrust.eInvoice reuses existing integration model, software providers and merchants can extend their compliance coverage without building country-specific infrastructure of their own. The platform validates buyer data, exempt reasons, invoice data, converts formats where required, manages transmission to the relevant networks and authorities and maintains country-compliant archives.
"E-invoices in Europe will transform every business towards digital processes, and fiskaltrust with their partner network make this change simple for merchants.," says Thomas Steininger, CEO at fiskaltrust. "With e-invoicing, we offer one connection point that assures you compliance in multiple countries."
With e-invoices, fiskaltrust brings fiscalisation, e-invoicing and e-reporting together in one platform, strengthening its position as a single compliance partner for businesses operating in Europe.
Existing fiskaltrust customers can activate e-invoices through the fiskaltrust portal. Documentation, sandbox environments and testing services are available now for software partners preparing for upcoming mandate deadlines.
